As a company dedicated to its people, clients, and communities, First Line Software proudly supports humanitarian and environmental causes at the global and local levels. This year, we proudly started our partnership with the Montenegro-based nonprofit organization Cini Dobro Foundation to focus our efforts for greater impact.
In just a matter of months this cooperation has garnered several opportunities to give back to the Montenegrin community, where many of our teammates are based. So far, we’ve joined Cini Dobro to tackle causes like health, improving the environment, and supporting children’s education.
On July 28, Cini Dobro and the Institute for Blood Transfusion held a donation drive to help maintain stable blood supplies in the community. First Line Software employees supported this campaign, donating blood during the typically lower donor months. According to Cini Dobro, one in four people on Earth will need a blood transfusion at some point in their life. This initiative not only helped local medical facilities maintain stable supply levels, but also encouraged community and solidarity.

This year for Earth Day, First Line Software employees joined Cini Dobro to help a school in Podgorica, Montenegro plant trees on their grounds. This project was part of Cini Dobro’s “Do good, plant a tree” initiative to re-green the grounds of educational, social, and child protection institutions. Through this project, 90 seedlings were planted at 18 different institutions in the central and southern regions.
This cause is crucial for Montenegrin communities for common environmental protection factors like increasing oxygen and preventing erosion, as well as providing shade during hot summer months.
In September, the team also partnered with Cini Dobro in their efforts to clean up local coasts in Montenegro. Our colleagues spent their Saturday collecting waste to help preserve the local waterways.

At the end of August, First Line Software joined Cini Dobro and the Ucionica Druzionica Foundation to collect school supplies for children across Montenegro. We also produced and donated notebooks specially designed for students, featuring our beloved mascot, Lucky. The goal of this initiative was to provide all students with access to supplies to start the school year ready for success.
