The project and your role

We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality of our mobile and web applications. You will play a key role in testing new features, identifying issues, and collaborating with the development team to deliver a great user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing of feature tickets (functional, UI/UX, and edge cases).
  • Design and maintain test cases in TestRail.
  • Perform regression testing for web and mobile applications across multiple platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Execute tests on real devices (iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones/tablets) and payment terminals using test cards.
  • Log and track issues through detailed bug reports.
  • Develop and manage checklists for new features and releases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity in requirements and issue resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and QA-related retrospectives.
  • Optionally participate in test automation maintenance and triggering via TestRail.

Your skills

  • Solid experience with manual testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Comfort with testing hardware-integrated systems (e.g., payment terminals) using test setups.
  • Ability to work independently, own QA processes, and contribute to team quality goals.
  • Basic familiarity with databases and log analysis tools.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering a great user experience.
