For this opportunity, you will be working with a US-based digital agency, contributing to multiple web development projects using Optimizely and modern frontend technologies.

The project and your role

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will collaborate on various projects, focusing on building and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications. Your role will involve working with Optimizely to develop dynamic, responsive, and personalized user experiences, while collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain frontend features for Optimizely-driven web applications.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve user experience.
  • Implement Optimizely's tools to create dynamic and personalized web features.
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues across different browsers and platforms.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain best practices.
  • Keep up to date with new web technologies, trends, and React best practices.

Your skills

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a React front-end developer.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
  • Hands-on experience with Optimizely.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Recoil).
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and serverless architecture.
