The project and your role

Your responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, availability, and optimal performance of our organization's applications       
  • Support developers for infra-related tasks
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, security, and performance tuning and optimization  
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem end-to-end resolution 
  • Provide support and resolve the day-to-day issues in applications and servers reported by users  
  • Take responsibility for a sub-area, and when needed lead a smaller group or work independently
  • Participate in custom solution releases, from development, testing, and deployment into production  
  • Perform testing, upgrades & checkouts after new version releases and infrastructure updates
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation
  • Handle upgrades and migrations of the application

Your skills

  • Experience in application, web app management, and support on Linux & Windows platform‍
  • Level 3 Knowledge and have been at level 2 for at least 2 years
  • 4-8 years’ experience as a consultant in the field, and are a role model for other consultants at lower levels
  • ‍Experience in configuration and maintenance of Linux and Windows servers, including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, security, and support
  • Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Apache Maven, MySql, MSSQL, and Cassandra  
  • Understanding of Enterprise Network Architecture (WAF, Firewall, DMZ, DNS, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team 
  • Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
  • Linux and Windows server knowledge to troubleshoot Infra level issues, Disk IO, High CPU, High Memory, network issues etc.
  • Awareness of project management tools like Kanban, Agile, etc.
  • Knowledge of service management tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Grafana, etc.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of WorkFusion, Kafka, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Tomcat, Scripting, Windows server, AzureVM, Azure Webapps, Azure bot, Cognitive services, Shell script and PowerShell Knowledge for Automation  
  • High analytical skills with high quality awareness
  • A high degree of initiative and flexibility  
  • High customer orientation, service-minded, and a good problem solver
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
